IWL is managed by Board of Directors comprising professionals with wide ranging experience in the infrastructure and financial services sectors

1. Pradeep Puri - Chairman

Mr. Pradeep Puri is a post graduate from Delhi University. He has served in the Govt. of India as an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer starting from 1978 and was the director of foreign investment in the department of economic affairs, Govt. of India before joining the Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services Limited (IL&FS) Group in 1998. He has more than 37 years of work experience including the past 17 years with IL&FS.

Mr. Puri served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Noida Toll Bridge Co. Ltd until September 30, 2010. The Noida Toll Bridge Company Ltd. incorporated in 1996 is one of the major Project in the area of public private partnership promoted by Infrastructure Leasing and Financial Services Ltd. (IL&FS) and New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (NOIDA), as a special purpose vehicle (SPV) to develop, construct, operate and maintain the DND Flyway on a Build Own Operate Transfer (BOOT) basis. The DND Flyway connects Delhi with Noida / Greater Noida. He is also a Chairman of Urban Infrastructure Committee under FICCI.

2. L Krishnan

Mr. L. Krishnan is a management graduate from Hull University, United Kingdom and former a member of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). Amongst other positions held, he was the first managing director of Tamilnadu Power Finance Corporation and was also Special Secretary, Finance, Government of Tamilnadu overseeing important functions in public expenditure management, budgeting and planning, infrastructure modeling and financing, treasury management and relations with Reserve Bank of India.. He was actively involved as a counterpart for several multilateral agencies like WB, ADB etc.

He has worked as Chief Executive Officer of IL&FS in various initiatives of IL&FS.

3. Maharudra Manohar Wagle

He is a post graduate in management from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies. He is employed with IL&FS and heads the Treasury, Accounts and Finance functions of IL&FS.

4. Saibal Kumar De

Mr. Saibal Kumar De is the Whole Time Director and Chief Executive at IL&FS Maritime Infrastructure Company Limited (IMICL). Mr De has more than 30 years of work experience spread across sectors and he has been specifically associated with the infrastructure sector for more than last 15 years. Mr De has been responsible for the conceptualization, structuring, implementation and delivery of many PPP projects across multiple sectors while working in partnership with the various State Governments. His extensive experience in infrastructure spans across maritime projects, logistics, urban infrastructure, industrial parks, SEZs etc. He has been actively involved in various forums for the policy making and sector related reforms. He has successfully steered IMICL's delivery of projects from the development to operational stage.

Mr. De has his B. Tech (Chemical) from IIT, Kharagpur and has also done short courses on Project Management and Infrastructure Finance & Project Development from IIM.

5. D R S Chaudhary

Mr. D R S Chaudhary is a graduate in Economics and joined the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) in 1977 from where he retired on 31st August, 2013. Mr. D R S Chaudhary has held various key economic positions in both central and state governments. During his tenure as Secretary, Department of Public Enterprises, a Nodal Department of Government of India for more than 250 State Owned Enterprises (SOE) and lays down policy guidelines on various issues such as CSR, Corporate Governance, Human Resources Management and Sustainable Development.

He has also worked in Ministry of Home Affairs, Steel, Finance and Department of Economic Affairs. Mr. Chaudhary’s interest lies in ecology and sustainable development.

6. M R Sreenivasa Murthy

Mr. Sreenivasa Murthy joined Indian Administrative Service (IAS) in 1976 and has served in various capacities like the Assistant Commissioner, Project Director, Joint Registrar of Cooperative Societies in Karnataka. Mr. Sreenivasa Murthy has also served as Managing Director of Karantaka Milk Product Limited, Karnataka Handloom Development Corporation and Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation.

He has wide range of experience in various fields including finance, rural development and Panchayati Raj. Mr. Sreenivasa Murthy retired as Chairman, Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission in 3rd March, 2015.

7. Namitha Pradhan

Ms. Namitha Pradhan has completed her masters in History from Lady Shree Ram College, Delhi University and fellowship program from Lester Pearson, Ottawa, Canada. She retired from Indian Administrative Service (IAS) with a rich experience of 20 years including 15 years of experience in United Nations Systems as Assistant Director General. During her tenure with the united Nations, she has served in various capacities including the Assistant Director General, Partnerships, UN Reform and Country Focus, WHO Geneva, Assistant Director General, General Management, WHO, Geneva, Advisor to Director General, Geneva etc.

Ms. Namitha Pradhan has vast experience in the administration of Health sector reforms both at national and international level.
